Profile summary

A profile summary is a short description of your work experience and skills which the employer reads first in the resume. A good profile summary can slightly increase your chances of selection for an interview.

Here are some examples of an engaging profile summary,

Marketing profile summary

"A marketing graduate having experience in sales and marketing by making strategies and policies for better marketing, bringing more customers, and managing customer relations."

Human Resource profile summary

"Trained in recruitment and selection and having experience of talent acquisition, training and development of employees, and managing employee relations."

General management profile summary

"A business graduate having experience in managing teams, allotting tasks, checking the work progress, and maintaining a positive work environment."


These are some examples of profile summaries, you can get an idea of how most profile summaries are created and can create your own for the particular job position for which you are applying.

Point to remember: The profile summary should be short and concise and should be able to explain all the relevant details in brief.
